Rolling Loud California 2025 follows a massive 2024 for The
World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival.
Celebrating 10 Years of Rolling Loud, the brand embarked on
a multicontinent run of festivals in Los Angeles, Austria, Thailand and Miami
that honored the festival’s rise from humble origins to world dominance. The
year culminated with an illustrious weekend at the brand’s flagship festival,
Rolling Loud Miami, from December 13-15th. Headlined by Future, Travis Scott
and Playboi Carti, the festival weekend brought anthemic hits, immaculate vibes
and appearances from some of hip-hop’s most iconic names – most notably a 9-song performance from none other than
Lauryn Hill. Complete with an escorted helicopter entrance and an
appearance by Owen Wilson, Travis Scott put on a performance that Billboard declared, “belongs in ‘The
Pantheon Of All-Time Great Festival Performances.’” Beginning in Los Angeles,
Rolling Loud looks to take their global expansion even further this year,
paving the way for the Rolling Loud World Tour.
Critical Praise:
“Built from scratch by lifelong music fans Matt Zingler and
Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud’s early strengths were its daring curation and
booking, elevating a new generation of artists with exciting live shows and
captivating energy. Today, the biggest performers headline the raucous
Miami festival, coming from all over the world, often
driven solely by their love and trust of Zingler and Cherif.” – Billboard
“From niche hip-hop festival to must-play event for some of
the biggest stars in music.” – Pollstar
“Until Elon Musk involuntarily envelops society into a
physical cloud universe, Rolling Loud will be the closest experience to
actually living inside your streaming app.” – Complex
“Rolling Loud’s annual New York edition is always something
special, but this year’s Halloween-weekend extravaganza (not to mention the
first post-pandemic) brought seriously spectacular energy to Queens’ Citi
Field.” – Highsnobiety
“Rolling Loud is a lifestyle brand. They are more than just
the shows. They have built a community with their consumers and are building
new channels to maintain continuity” – Forbes
“In four and a half years — beginning small in Miami, and
now promoting Coachella-sized events around the country — Rolling Loud has
established itself as a playground for the young…This time last year, many of
the rappers now drawing crowds of several thousand were barely known.” – The
New York Times
About Rolling Loud:
Founded in 2015 by childhood friends and Miami natives,
Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif (8x Billboard Hip-Hop Power Players), Rolling
Loud was built out of a flourishing South Florida hip-hop community that the
pair cultivated through years of concert promotions. In a time where live
hip-hop entertainment wasn't being taken seriously by the pop music machine,
Rolling Loud shattered expectations from the jump – prompting them to expand at
an unprecedented rate from Miami to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and
Australia within 5 years and to Portugal, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria,
Toronto and Thailand within 10 years. The festival not only brings hip-hop to
fans around the world, it is where hip-hop history is made. From Lil Uzi Vert's
iconic stage dive in 2017 to Ice Spice's first ever performance in 2022 to
Future and Metro Boomin kicking off the Kendrick Lamar x Drake battle in 2024,
the Rolling Loud stage is where it all goes down.
Rolling Loud's advancement is largely credited to its
dedication to cultivating community in every market they touch, paving an
opportunity for them to be revered as more than just a festival – it's a
lifestyle brand. With a booming fashion and merchandising business that
outsells some of the biggest artists in the world, a thriving media and
production arm that creates content for other world-renown brands, and an
unprecedented web3 model that integrates experience with digital ownership,
Rolling Loud has built a 360º brand that fans, brands, and artists alike
respect for its ingenuity and authenticity. Rolling Loud is the World's Largest
Hip-Hop Festival, point blank period. Many have tried, but none have prevailed
like Rolling Loud.
