GRUPO FIRME MAKES HISTORIC WEST COAST RUN WITH 10 ARENA SELL-OUTS AND OVER 100,000 TICKETS SOLD

GRUPO FIRME REOPENS MULTIPLE VENUES PLAYING

FIRST  CONCERTS IN OVER 500 DAYS

Nederlander Concerts presented ten arena sell-outs with Regional Mexican breakout band Grupo Firme, selling over 100,000 tickets. The independent promoter partnered with TuStreams, Music VIP Entertainment, and Orjuela Entertainment to produce Grupo Firme’s first-ever arena shows.

The West Coast tour kicked off with seven historic shows at STAPLES Center on July 30.  It had been exactly 513 days between the last concert at STAPLES Center on March 4, 2020, before welcoming Grupo Firme on July 30, July 31, August 1, 4, 6, 7, and 8. As a result, Grupo Firme now holds the record for the most shows in a single calendar year performed at STAPLES Center by a Latin artist, band, or group.

The chart-topping band played August 13 to a sold-out crowd at Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ, as the first concert back in the venue. Then, on August 14, Grupo Firme reopened the Pechanga Arena San Diego, marking the venue's first indoor event in over 500 days. Finally, Grupo Firme concluded their run at Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield on August 15, with another sell-out concert.

Founded in Tijuana by Eduin Cazares and Joaquin Ruiz, Grupo Firme has risen to become one of the leading ranchera bands and were presented with Song of the Year, among other awards during the 2021 Lo Nuestro Awards.
